Chris Castile : Mark Foster
Christopher Castile, a boy who loves sports and has a collection of pets that includes a dog named Dougie, a turtle, fish and a hamster, has the good fortune to land the first role he sought. His performance in a commercial at age 7 promted his parets, Donna and Jonathan, to let him pursue a career in entertainment.
Commercial work blossomed onto guest roles on TV series including My Two Dads, Empty Nest, The Fanelli Boys, The Family Man, American Dreamer, and Going Places. He appeared in the feature Films, Beethoven and it's sequel, Beethoven's 2nd. He has hosted two ABC's Saturday Specials called Money Made Easy:The ABC's kids guide to Dollars and Sense. More recently, Chris flew to Montreal to guest star on an episode of cable televisions Are You Afraid of the Dark?; and will supply the voice of Eugene in an up comming animated series Hay Arnold, also for cable.
When not preforming, Chris attends high school near home in Orange County, California. He is passionate about his golf game, and has the distinction of being of being the youngest person to ever play in the Greater Greensboro Celebrity Pro-Am Tournament. In addition, he loves baseball, snow skiing, playing pool, colecting baseball cards, watching the Los Angeles Lakers and the Dogers, and tending to his pets.
In May of 1994, Chris went to Washington D.C., in conjunction with the National Kids Safty Week. For that observance, he recorded public service spots and joined 150 children who, with former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop, met with members of Congress and testified at hearings. In July, 1995, Chris returned to D.C.. He and the Transporatation Secretary Federico Pena announced the donation of child safety seats to needy families.
Christopher credits much of his success to the support he enjoys from family, and counts younger sister Bethay, 11, as one of his biggest fans.
