Angela Watson, born November 12, 1975, began her career with beauty pageants in Florida, where she moved with her parents from a farm in Illinois. She also took modeling lessons and eventually won a model-of-the-year title in 1988 in Dallas, where she was spotted by an agent who recommended a trial period in Hollywood. Watson received so much commercial work that she and her family made a permanent move to Los Angeles. She quickly landed the recurring role of Alice on the comedy series "Davis Rules." In addition to acting, Watson is pursuing a long-held aspiration and currently working on her country-western debut album. She is also the national spokesperson for Hugs America, an organization which helps animal victims of fire, oil spills and other natural disasters, was well as mistreated animals. This is a newly established charitable company within the Image Arts Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Los Angeles.
